Are they breeding poblano peppers to be tasteless? Big and tasteless?
I bought some to cook with tonight, and they tasted *exactly* like green bell peppers, with just a tiny tiny touch of spiciness at the tip. But even that doesn't make sense to me. I mean, wouldn't a tasteless poblano pepper just taste...like a tasteless poblano pepper, rather than tasting like a bell pepper? I'm mystified.
