Gabe's blogging has come into it's own, aided by a fever.
Dawn is back to words (time to remove the "on break from words" banner so we can see crazy King Gyanendra, Dawn) after a week of beautiful drawings (more please), with news of a "free restaurant public art piece," with recipes created according to "an algorithm that converts French lit-theory passages into ingredients." And yet, somehow, the dishes (and isn't it curious that two out of four essentially randomly generated dishes would come out tasting like Thai food?) don't sound particularly outlandish next to food by Ferran Adria, or even what Paul Liebrandt is apparently serving at Gilt (which I hope to sample soon).
Steffani is watching Frederick Wiseman's "High School" as I work on my computer. It's a great background movie (might be a great movie period, but I wouldn't know as I haven't watched it...but definitely a great background movie).
