Doveman is playing at Tonic on Sunday, and it should be really nice. Two great bands playing with us, first Scott Matthew, who has a bunch of really beautiful songs in John Cameron Mitchell's totally awesome new movie, then Christina Courtin, who will astonish you.

Scott at 8, Christina at 9, Us at 10. $8.

Shahzad is out of town, so Oren Bloedow will be sitting in (fresh off a plane from Paris).

Then next Sunday we're playing at Webster Hall (eek!), opening for the National and Baby Dayliner.

No Shahzad, and no Sam!! Yikes. So this will be with Oren and Doug Wieselman.
